City slicker. Double Decker style.
The iconic London Enviro 400 hybrid double decker bus was given a design makeover last year which Fusion helped launch at the NEC and support with marketing collateral.
Improvements to the bus included improved passenger experience including a glazed stairwell, interior and exterior technology, styling and mod cons. This was then further rolled out, with additional sales support materials with a more provincial focus. Alexander Dennis successfully secured a major order with Blackpool Transport as part of an £18m investment programme to revamp the entire fleet. Wanting a bus with Blackpool’s own identity (not red!) and tailored to Blackpool’s passenger requirements, they developed a partnership approach where both companies technical and engineering teams working together.
Marking an important step in the modernisation of Blackpool’s fleet, Fusion were bought in to help launch the new fleet to not only passengers but to the various stakeholders involved in the collaborative process. This included exterior grade banners for a display on Blackpool’s promenade to a booklet charting the journey of he first Enviro 400 Citys to operate outside London and large info graphic style posters presented by ADL to Blackpool Transport at a PR launch event.
